Pilot Knob Conservation Area

Located conveniently less than 5 minutes from the house, Pilot Knob is a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy nature. The trail is a 3+ mile (one way) in and out trail. It’s usually not busy – often you’ll be alone on the trail, so it’s excellent for a quiet stroll to unwind, or to photograph local wildlife. The trail is easy to moderate, a walking stick might be helpful. There are no facilities or amenities, so remember to pack water and snacks.
